Unfortunately, none of my quarterly stocks like BMO, AAPL and EMA were able to drip this month. This is something I will be working on should the opportunity arise. However, RY was able to DRIP in my leveraged account, which I find extremely exciting. Let the dividend snowball begin!

This month, my major purchases included BCE and Telus. This was primarily due to potential opportunities with the macro environment and to help bring my portfolio weightings more inline with what I’d eventually like. I also bought more units of HHL using retained dividends after DRIPs. This is primarily some place to park my retained dividends, generate some yield, and catch some long term growth potential. Most likely, I will be working on using my retained dividends to continue generating yield while my primary income will go to my core dividend growth holdings. I also had a bit of leftover dividends to capitalize on CP’s share price drop due to the STB ruling on CNR’s trust for railway takeover.
