Crypto Income Update – July 2021

In July, I made some changes to my crypto mining. I pulled the trigger and upgraded to a RTX 3090 from my 2080. Currently mining takes place on my 3090, and I may look into adding the 2080 back into the mix at a later point in time. This card switch took place halfway through the month. My projected monthly income from ETH mining moving forward will be around $200 / CAD month (pending ETH prices).

My community also found out that I’m now on the Brave network as a verified publisher and made some donations to me! Thank you so much! I also earned from my own browsing activities (about 2-3 BAT). For simplicity’s sake, I grouped them together under mining, though if it becomes a regular occurrence, I will group it with Investing.

Mining

I also shifted my crypto investments around a LOT and experimented with yield farming and staking. Yield farming is substantially more risky, but with yields on ETH at 66.51% and a staking APY of 105.6% (and that’s some of the “saner” yields) this allowed me to bring my ROI down on the new graphic card substantially, as you’ll see below. I also conducted some trades on volatility. I won’t be listing all my trades since I did a LOT of them. The end result is listed below. I expect this kind of month to be an outlier and not the norm in terms of passive crypto income. For now.

Since then, I converted my trades and yield farms back to BTC and ETH.

Investing

Over the next few months (likely September onwards), my crypto income should grow rapidly, and I’m fairly excited for this project to take off. I got plans for the increased cashflow, which I’ll reveal once my projects get well underway.
