This month my CAD portfolio earned $342.63 in dividends and my USD portfolio earned $76.85 USD in dividends.
The combined value (in CAD) from dividends this month = $444.61!
This month marks the first time I’m receiving USD dividends. The amount isn’t enough to invest, given the fees, so I’ll likely just let it sit and build for now. At some point, I will be investing it, most likely as I start to expand the USD side of my portfolio.
I also crossed a dividend milestone this month, as my portfolio officially crossed the $400 / month line for the first time!
Below you’ll see a chart of my dividends since I started investing in May 2019. The growth this year has been phenomenal due to actions I took, but I expect things to slow down somewhat for the next while.
I am told that I’m starting to get to the income level where you start to really notice the snowball effects of dividend investing, which I’m very excited for.
