This month my portfolio earned $680.13 in dividends.

This month most of my money went into debt conversion, converting non-performing liabilities into investment loans. This investment loan was used to purchase ATD.B. I purchased additional shares of AQN in my RRSP portfolio, which I’ve been doing for the last few months while I work on establishing that portion. The TD purchase was paid for through selling non-dividend paying stocks at a slight profit in my taxable account. The purpose for converting the non-dividend paying stocks was to help boost and build my income as part of my plan centering around solidifying my cashflow for my overall portfolio.

With this in mind, I purchased HHL in my TFSA as a means of reinvesting dividends and building my “emergency cashflow” portfolio. This “emergency cashflow” portfolio is a selection of higher yielding, lower growth assets that I can DRIP, reinvest the dividends into dividend growth portfolios, or to help with my monthly cashflow and expenses as needed. The purpose will be to help allow me some flexibility in my cashflow for the next while. This will likely be the plan for my TFSA for the foreseeable future and should, ideally, help create a very solid foundation for future growth and expansion.
